ALPINE PROGRAM (DOWNHILL and SNOWBOARDING Grades 3-8 ONLY)
Please note that registration includes an ALPINE season pass to Gunstock for all students. The cost for four sessions is $200.00. The package includes a lift ticket, a MANDATORY fifty-minute professional lesson, midweek season pass and rentals. OR a Winter Prime Pass-good 7 days a week for $350.00. Rentals are included if registered for by the parent and are only available for the four Fridays of Gilmanton School programming. Buses returning to Gilmanton School leave Gunstock at 1:45 PM in time for afternoon dismissals. Alternatively, students may be dismissed at Gunstock Mountain at 1:15 PM to an adult with written permission. Price increases to $250/$400 after 10/15/24 and the offer is no longer valid after 11/15/24. Students who have not purchased their pass through this program 11/15/24 with Gunstock will not be eligible to participate in this program.
NORDIC PROGRAM (CROSS COUNTRY Grades 3-8)
Please note that registration includes a NORDIC season pass to Gunstock for all students. Cross country skiing will be offered, weather permitting. The cost for four sessions is $95.00. This includes MANDATORY lessons, rentals and a season pass for the Nordic Center. Rentals are included if registered for by the parent and are only available for the four Fridays of Gilmanton School Programming. Buses returning to Gilmanton School leave Gunstock at 1:45 PM in time for afternoon dismissals. Alternatively, students may be dismissed at Gunstock Mountain at 1:15 PM to an adult with written permission. Price increases to $109 after 10/15/24 and the offer is no longer valid after 11/15/24. Students who have not purchased their pass through this program 11/15/24 with Gunstock will not be eligible to participate in this program. Please if weather conditions do not cooperate, Gunstock will pivot to an alternative activity which will not qualify for a refund request.
ICE SKATING (All Grade Levels)
Ice-skating at the Rochester Arena. The cost for four sessions of skating (no lessons) is $20.00 including rentals. Students are encouraged to bring their own equipment as there are a limited number of sizes available for ice skates; helmets are strongly encouraged. Parent chaperones are not needed and students return to the school before lunch and participate in after lunch programming at Gilmanton School.
BOWLING (All Grade Levels)
Bowling at Boutwell's Bowling Center in Concord. The cost for four sessions (no lessons) is $52.00 including shoe rentals. Parent chaperones are not needed and students return to the school before lunch and participate in after lunch programming at Gilmanton School.
GYMNASTICS (Grades K-2 Only)
Gymnastics programming is offered through Seacoast Gym in Rochester for students in grades K-2. This program is limited to 45 students. Because of the limited size, we are offering this program to the first 45 students that respond to this interest form. The cost for four sessions is $40.00. Students will travel by bus to participate in a one hour class that will be broken into smaller groups that rotate to different stations, Gilmanton School Staff with the leadership of Seacoast Gym coaches will guide the students through the different stations. Parent chaperones are not needed and students will return to Gilmanton School before lunch and afternoon activities.
INDOOR ROCK CLIMBING: (Grades 5, 6, 7 and 8)
Rock climbing at NH Rock and Fitness in Concord, NH. This is a two hour per week rock climbing session. Students will learn to climb and belay by Evolution Rock and Fitness Instructors. The cost for four sessions is $100.00 and includes a harness. Parent chaperones are not needed and students will have their lunch on the bus as they return to the school to participate in after lunch programming at Gilmanton School.
REMAIN AT SCHOOL (All Grades)
Students who wish to remain at school will participate in various activities. There is no cost to remain at school.
